How to Find Out If Your Windows 7 Is 32-bit or 64-bit

Many of us think whether the copy of Windows 7 on the PC is 32 bit or 64 bit. Like downloading drivers for our computer can be little confusing when you don’t know which version is running on you computer. 64 bit applications are faster and make better use of memory. You can notice the increase in performance while running memory intensive application like Photoshop.
Follow these steps to find out whether your computer has 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7.
1. Click Start button.
2. Right click Computer.
3. Go to Properties.
4. As you click on Properties, a new window opens. Look for the text “System Type“. It will tell you whether 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 is installed.
This window contains more information about your computer. Information about the Processor, RAM etc.
